Weddings

The three weddings that I've attended are the marriages of high school friends who had met their significant others back in the days.  Those occasions were also the best opportunities to reconnect with old friends.  What took me by surprise was the ease that I felt towards my old friends.   Since high school all of us went on different paths.  I haven't been very good at keeping in touch.  Then it came the opportunities for us to reunite.  We all became so reminiscent of the past.  We shared stories from past and present. Even though I am wedding-ed out this summer I truly cherish these occasions because of the non-stop laughters that we shared.

A shout-out to my friends who tied the knot with their high-school sweethearts this summer: congratulations and thank-you for the opportunites that brought old friends together.

atelier thuet

Eating after a workout is always satisfying. Be the workout a simple run or dragon boat paddling, having a sit-down dinner is fulfilling. Tonight after a run colleagues and I had dinner at Atelier Thuet (Liberty Village) that has just opened for two weeks. To describe the experience in one word: Divine!!!
With great Belgian beer + great food "Atelier Thuet" is a sure winner!

Belgian Beer in 750ml bottle (I have picture of the label for reference)
"Raclette" Raclette on Venison Prosciutto and Potato

.took it easy this year cuz of the algonquin
trip the next day. we spent most of the time
walking. there were just too many people
on the streets (which was great) but that also
meant long lineups for some interesting sites,
eg the lower bay station which i really wanted
to see...
